Alcohol Ink on Canvas 50 x 70 cm signed and certified, 2024
This work is one of the first attempts at working with alcohol ink on canvas. The canvas must be thoroughly pretreated to create a surface suitable for the alcohol ink. It will never be possible to work exactly as one would on the surface intended for the paints, so the primary focus is on experimentation and seeing how different canvas primers interact with the inks. This work, therefore, once again creates entirely new, unique structures and color gradients. The title is a play on the well-known brand and associations with the work.
