The simple forms were created intuitively with pen and ink. Around these initial lines, the composition fills with color fields that are soft, powerful, and harmonious at the same time. This was a first experiment with alcohol inks on regular paper to see how differently the materials interact. Even on the highly absorbent watercolor paper, the alcohol inks reacted at first, but eventually yielded to a soft gradation.
