This two-part work of art (each 30x40 cm) captivates with powerful contrasts and expressive color schemes. The black-primed surfaces were modeled with texture paste and form the dramatic stage for the dynamically discharging red tones, which are rounded off with gold and pink accents.

Referencing the cult film of the same name, the title refers to an explosive tension that unfolds in the nighttime color dramaturgy of red, black and gold.
