Clear shapes, striking lines, balanced colors. The work captivates with its resulting dynamism and rounds out the viewer's experience with its harmonious composition. The work was created as part of my series on intuitive painting.
The angular lines are reflected both softly in the background and in the bold black in the foreground. Likewise, the slightly transparent color areas in warm orange tones exist directly alongside cool, opaque gray.
The title is derived from the silver seams that run sporadically throughout the work and, when viewed from the right angle, rise up with full presence. A brief flash, a silver lining on the horizon, which diminishes the significance of all the other, much more prominent objects.
